OECD-CLI dispersion index
The OECD-CLI dispersion index is a composite index of in total eight OECD-CLI sub indices. It aims to capture the global economic trend.
As can be seen below, for most indices investing when the OECD-CLI dispersion index is equal or above of 0.5 (x-Axis), one was able to log positive returns in the subsequent 3 months (value on the y-axis).
While results vary across the different assets, the global business cycle impacts most equity assets in a similar way.
